70-tonne Fin whales impaled to the bow of a cruise ship

The second largest mammal on the planet is no match for a 1000ft long cruise liner.

The vessel Sapphire Princess docked in Vancouver after a trip to Alaska to find a 70ft long Fin whales attached to it’s bow. The vessel’s owners say that the whales is a mystery but they do have strict whale avoidance procedures in place when their ships are in the vicinity of marine life.
