Join the 10:10 campaign to cut UK carbon emissions
Commit to reducing your carbon footprint by 10% by 2010 as celebrities, businesses and many others around the country step up.

Riding the wave of interest generated by the film The Age of Stupid, Fanny Armstrong and the rest of the Stupid Team decided that current government targets to cut carbon emissions weren’t enough and they were in a position to do something about it. As figures like an 80% cut by 2050 have been released as government targets, a more immediate call to action was required. The 10:10 campaign was born with a realistic target of a 10% reduction in carbon emissions by 2010 as the goal for each individual, business and family which signs up. The aim of the campaign is to generate the mass engagement in the subject which has been lacking up until now.
The campaign was launched on the 1st September at the Tate modern in London with thousands turning out to show their support and dedication to combating catastrophic climate change. When you sign up to the campaign on the 10:10 website you can tick a box to receive advice on how to meet your target and read of how Pete Postlethwaite and others have cut their carbon footprint.
