Revealed: Captain Carbon, climate change fighter

The face of Ethical Video Production has been revealed to the world, meet Captain Carbon.

Hiding in the shadows since his energy sapping journey from Planet Wearth Captain Carbon has now fully recovered and is ready to become the spokesperson for Back To The Planet and it’s Carbon reduction program…Really?!

Okay I’m sure that by now you’ve realised that this is not quite true.  So we’ll come clean.  Back To The Planet is an ethical video production company based in Bristol and have developed a new an exciting superhero character, ‘Captain Carbon’.  He will take the lead and present himself as Back To The Planet ‘s environment consultant collating information on Back To The Planet ‘s environmental issues, environmental news and environmental hints and tips.

“We wanted to use Captain Carbon as the face of our environmental pages as this is a key aspect of our business. Rather than us simply presenting information on our website, we wanted people to identify with a character.  We hope to develop Captain Carbon further as an educational character to illustrate the importance of environmental issues and to show our dedication to operating an ethical business.” Said Alan, director of Back To The Planet.

Captain Carbon will have his own section in the Back To The Planet newsletter and website.

Back To The Planet offers a carbon offsetting service through collaboration with Carbonfootprint.com and Climatecare. This is done by recording the use of each piece of equipment used during a video production, the carbon footprint can then be calculated and offset through the projects of Climatecare.
