BTTP shows support for the Bristol Partnership initiative to make Bristol a low carbon city with a high quality of life
Back To The Planet sign Bristol – Green Capital Pledge
By signing the Bristol Partnership pledge Back To The Planet is showing support for this initiative aiming to put Bristol at the top of the list of Green capitals. Bristol has recently been shortlisted for EU – Green Capital and this has been achieved through dedication to bringing a number of fundamental changes to the way residents and businesses in the city operate.
The Bristol Partnership has set an ambitious agenda for the city including:
- creating a high-quality, clean and attractive built and natural environment
- tackling the causes of climate change
- supporting the creation of balanced and sustainable communities within Bristol
- co-ordinating opportunities through the region’s projected growth and local regeneration priorities
Back To The Planet has joined a list of over 60 businesses and organisations to have signed the pledge, committing to:
- Produce an action plan outlining how emissions and waste will be reduced
- Work with others to make a difference
- Publicly report progress through the Bristol Partnership
