BNHC – Bio Blitz
The first Bristol BioBlitz took place in June, 2009. The event was organised for a team of scientists, naturalists, volunteers, schools and public to search for as many unique species as possible in the Ashton Court Estate. And the final total number of species identified was…637.
The Bristol Natural History Consortium provided Back To The Planet with the film footage, shot over the 2 days, allowing us to edit the rushes into a 5 minute film intended for future funding opportunities and a version for the website www.bioblitzbristol.org. Back To The Planet undertook this project on a pro-bono basis.
