St Monica Trust – Porridge at midnight
St. Monica Trust promotional DVD and web video
Back To The Planet completed a project for the St Monica Trust who commissioned a 12-minute DVD to promote their new Dementia Care Unit in Sandford, North Somerset. The resulting DVD ‘Porridge at Midnight’ is aimed at prospective residents and their families and provides an introduction to the Russets, a residential care centre for people living with dementia.
Due to the nature of this project, and the work carried out by the St Monica Trust, sensitivity was needed in all aspects of the making of this film, in particular, during interviews with residents and their families.
Following the completion of the DVD, Back To The Planet created a short video for use on the St Monica Trust website – www.sandford.stmonicatrust.org.uk, providing further marketing opportunities to internet users.
“We needed a company that would be sensitive to the many issues that arise from filming within this kind of real-life environment…….Back to the Planet understood all of these dimensions and showed patience and empathy throughout the process.”
