Simon Williams – Producer/Director
Simon has ten years experience as a producer and director in the BBC Natural History Unit and in BBC factual programming.
No stranger to adventure and the outdoors Simon has worked on everything from blue chip productions such as David Attenborough’s Life In The Undergrowth and the epic Wild Down Under to live productions such as Springwatch and Autumnwatch. As well as being qualified to HSE level as a SCUBA diver Simon is a keen surfer and fisherman. “I love the water” he says “but I realise how fragile it all is”.
In 2008 Simon turned cameraman and spent the summer in Cornwall filming the popular Seaside Rescue documentary. More recently he spent time on dry land scaling Mount Kilimanjaro filming Chris Moyles, Gary Barlow, Cheryl Cole and a host of other celebrities as they raised a record amount of money for Comic Relief.
