Post-production

Video post-production is where the value of preparation during the initial stage of production is realised and the creative expertise of the editor is used to cohesively pull all aspects of the video together. Graphic designers, animators and illustrators may be needed to animate a logo, create a DVD menu or an animated sequence which the editor then adds to the video. Logo animation helps to emphasis brand identification and allows a theme to run throughout the video, for example introducing a series of chapters as the video plays.

Using the latest video editing software, the Back To The Planet’s video editor will seamlessly edit film footage, music, voice-over, sound, graphics and animation to create an outstanding video to provide the maximum impact. The video will then be available for viewing by the commissioning body and any alterations will be made before the final edit. Video production editing is provided in-house in the Back To The Planet edit suite.

If the video is to be distributed as a DVD, the required number of DVD’s will be authored and a sleeve cover will be designed and printed following consultation with the commissioning body. Any further DVD replication can be made at a later date if required. If the video is for internet use, for example as a corporate video, the final edit will be uploaded to the required site. A shorter edit may be made for a web-based video from the same footage used in a DVD, allowing a greater use of available funds and wider audience access, this can be very effective for a promotional video.
